I cannot remember a time I did not want to create. I’ve had a paintbrush in my hand for many years. At one time my plan was to get an art degree, but life changes and I struggled with “you can’t do that!” Now, I go whatever the idea takes me, sometimes it is a disaster, and then there are the times where it all comes together. And a few times even the disaster turns out to be a favorite.

If you asked me what my style is- that can be up in the air as well. Right now, I have been enjoying working with many mediums. Yes, I still have a brush in hand, but I also work with my fingers moving the color across the canvas as I once did so many years ago.

I enjoy working with textures, layers, colors. Inspired by what I see in nature and all that makes up life. There is no realism in my work, yet I hope to promote an emotional sense, state or experience.
